Prepare a hydraulic model for a UDF simulation

Module overview

In order to run a UDF simulation in the InfoWater Pro UDF extension, users learn to design a working hydraulic model, calibrated to reflect real-world operations so that changes in demand, flow, and velocity are considered during a UDF simulation.

Once completed you'll be able to: 

  • Know how to set UDF layers in a calibrated hydraulic model.
  • Know how to associate hydrants and valves with pipelines in a hydraulic model. 
  • Be able to assign emitter coefficients to hydrants in a hydraulic model, as well as set hydrant elevation data and calculate the length of lateral connections.
