Type:
Tutorial
Length:
2 min.
Transcript
00:04
In the Fusion Drawing workspace,
00:05
you can generate isometric projected views of your model that show how parts fit together from different angles.
00:11
Using Isometric projected views in conjunction with a base view and orthographic projected views
00:18
provides a comprehensive visualization of your design.
00:22
In this example, the design is open in the Drawing workspace with base and orthographic projected views already created.
00:30
On the toolbar, click Create > Projected View.
00:36
Then, select the view that you wish to use as the parent view;
00:41
in this case, the base view.
00:43
Now, drag the pointer diagonally away from each of the four corners of the base view to see a preview of each isometric view.
00:52
Notice that the view is dependent on the direction in which you drag your pointer.
00:57
In this case, click in the upper left to place the view.
01:01
Then, right-click and select OK to generate the isometric view.
01:06
Once it is generated, you can click and drag the view to the desired location in the drawing.
01:12
By default, isometric views automatically inherit the preferences and settings of the base view.
01:19
To change these settings, double-click the view to open the Drawing View dialog.
01:25
For this example, change the Style to Visible Edges or Shaded, and then click Close.
01:33
Now you know how to create an isometric view and adjust its settings.
