This module will provide you with an overview of Model States first introduced in Inventor 2022 – explaining the various use cases and methods behind each process. This module will also cover the switch from LOD to model states, what they can be used for, and how to create them.

This module will provide you with an overview of Model States first introduced in Inventor 2022 – explaining the various use cases and methods behind each process. This module will also cover the switch from LOD to model states, what they can be used for, and how to create them.  

This module takes approximately 40 minutes to complete. By the end of the module, you should be able to: 

  • Recognize when to use Model States  
  • Understand what settings can be controlled  
  • Construct Model States  
  • Organize and link Model States  
  • Prepare a Model State for substitution 
  • Apply Model States to drawings and presentations
