Reviewing the results of an EPS as tabular reports

Use the Report Manager tools to create tabular reports from EPS results.

Step-by-step:

Once you have successfully run a hydraulic model through an EPS, you can review the results using the Attribute tab of the Model Explorer. You can also create tabular reports using the tools in the Report Manager.

  1. Open the appropriate .aprx file in ArcGIS Pro.
  2. From the ribbon, InfoWater Pro tab, Project panel, click Initialize.
  3. In the InfoWater Pro ribbon, View panel, click Report Manager.

  1. In the Report Manager, click New.
  2. In the Output Report/Graph dialog, open the Tabular Report tab.
  3. Select Pipe Report.
  4. Set Data Scope to Complete Report/Graph.
  5. Click Open.

You may have seen a similar report if you performed a steady state simulation, but this report displays the output at multiple times.

  1. Expand the time drop-down to change the time. Notice that the report values update based on the chosen time.

Typically, the minimum and maximum values are desired for an extended period simulation. These values can be found in the Range reports.

  1. In the Report Manager, click New.
  2. In the Tabular Report tab, select Pipe Range.
  3. Click Open.
  4. Expand the drop-down and select Velocity.

  1. Click the Max Volume column heading to select the entire column.
  2. Right-click and from the shortcut menu, select Data Histogram Plot.

  1. In the Data Histogram of Max Value dialog, select By Interval.
  2. Set the value to 0.5.
  3. Click Classify.

This details the velocity distribution using 0.5 feet per second classes.

  1. Close the histogram.
  2. In the Report Manager, click Format Report.

  1. In the Format All dialog, arrange the Display Columns section to only display Max Value and Min Value.

  1. Click OK.

Any report in InfoWater Pro can be customized using this tool. Click Hide to close the Report Manager. Every report and graph in the Report Manager is saved in its current state until it is manually removed, refreshed, or the model is closed.
