Assign access by user

Assign and unassign access to products and services by user.

In Autodesk Account, admins can assign and unassign access to products and services as often as needed.

Please allow two hours after payment for a newly purchased product to appear in Autodesk Account.

When assigning product access by user, admins choose users and assign products to them.

Sign into Autodesk Account.

In the navigation menu, from User Management, select By User.

From the User Management by User page, make sure you have the correct team selected from the Team drop-down.

Then, select a user.

This opens a user-specific page, where you can review user information, including the user’s current product access.

Here, you can unassign current product assignments or assign products that the user has not yet been assigned.

During assignment, you can specify other items that might come with the product.

Select the arrow next to any product listed as Not Assigned.

A panel displays different product services that are available to be assigned.

To assign all available services related to that product, click Assign all items.

To specify which items to include, click Customize.

Then, individually select each item, select all items, or deselect all items by clicking None.

Once you have made your item selections, click Assign selected items.

Close the product panel.

To unassign any currently assigned product, simply click Unassign.

To customize which product items to unassign, click the arrow next to Unassign.

The product panel displays again.

Clear the items you want to remove, and then click Save changes.
