Perform takeoffs from 2D drawings

Autodesk Takeoff allows you to extract quantities from 2D drawings and 3D models. In this video, you’ll learn how to navigate a 2D drawing set, use the area, line, and count tools to takeoff quantities, and how to create output definitions for project-specific costs. 

After completing this video, you’ll be able to:

  • Navigate and view 2D drawing sets in ACC.
  • Use Takeoff tools to add quantities to the inventory.
  • Use the AI tool, symbol detection, to automatically detect and count matching symbols on a sheet.
  • Create output definitions.
