Estimating with the Autodesk Construction Cloud

Module overview

 

Autodesk Takeoff is a cloud-based tool that allows teams to perform quantity takeoffs directly from 2D and 3D models. In this module, you will learn how to set up a takeoff project, define takeoff types, extract quantities from models, and analyze the results. You will then apply prices in Autodesk Estimate to extracted quantities to come up with a project cost. You’ll see how model-based estimating in ACC supports faster, more accurate cost analysis and helps teams stay aligned throughout the preconstruction phase.

In this module, you’ll learn how to:

  • Set up a project and takeoff packages in ACC.
  • Extract quantities from 2D drawings and 3D models.
  • Apply cost data to extracted quantities.
