Description

This class will teach you how to program using Autodesk, Inc.’s, FeatureCAM software. It will focus on using FeatureCAM software’s automation to help you program your parts faster, more efficiently, and more consistently. FeatureCAM is a feature-based CAM system, which means that it uses common industry terminology during the programming process to keep you from learning specialized terms just to program your parts. This session features FeatureCAM.

    Jeremy Malan worked for 11 years as a machinist in various different industries, ranging from mold and die to aerospace, with most of his experience being in job shops doing different types of jobs daily. As a machinist he programmed with Mastercam, Samsung SmartCAM, and Delcam FeatureCAM. After using FeatureCAM for 7 years he came to work for Delcam in 2007, doing support for FeatureCAM. He started with a team of 5 Salt Lake City-based architectural engineers (AE). In 2010 he had the opportunity to go into management, and he has been involved as the company has grown the Support Team into 5 offices and 24 AEs.
