Inventor Basics Series—Taking Control of Your Styles and Standards
This class will be a beginner's guide to using the Inventor software Styles Editor. Styles Editor is like your one-stop shop for controlling the way things appear in your Inventor Parts, Assemblies, and Drawings. We'll discuss text styles and dimensions to lighting and scenes, and everything in between. The Styles Editor gives you great "out of the box" functionality, and the ability to create your own unique styles. A basic understanding of this tool can greatly improve your modeling and drawing productivity.

BIM 360 Document Management Integration with BIM 360 Model Coordination
This demonstration will highlight the new unified BIM 360 experience, focusing on BIM 360 Document Integration with the new BIM 360 Model Coordination web application (which replaces functionality from the BIM 360 Glue Class app). We will walk through setting up a new unified BIM 360 project and activating the BIM 360 Document Management and the BIM 360 Model Coordination services. We’ll demonstrate how these 2 applications can work hand in hand with each other to streamline coordination with Revit software (via BIM 360 Design), Navisworks software, and AutoCAD software-based models. And we will demo the individual features of both applications.

Supersize Me: Worksets with Links, Object Protection, Families Versus Groups Versus Links

This Supersize Me class focuses on delivering large or mammoth projects with Autodesk® Revit® software. We will focus on three topics that can make or break a large Revit project. 
First, we will show you how worksets and links together unlock the gates of a large Revit project, and how these two areas represent one of the fundamental pieces of having a successful large Revit project. Next, on any Revit project, when something gets deleted by accident, it can be painful. On a large project it can cause days or weeks worth of rework. We will show you how to protect Revit objects from being moved, deleted, or modified. Finally, we will take a hard look at families versus groups versus links. Unfortunately they have similar characteristics and often get used in place of each other. We will talk about each tool and discuss why and how they work, when to use them, and when not to use them. You will gain an understanding of why each tool can be both destructive or constructive to any Revit project.

BIM 360 and Data Analysis
BIM 360 Insight software offers a new way to review project performance. Those activities and interactions happen within the BIM 360 account and would be recorded, calculated, and summarized accurately and shown in the BIM 360 Insight module. To extend the benefits of data management in the same cloud base, we can import and link an external data source to BIM 360 software. Microsoft Power BI is the important media to connect the extra statistics and link with BIM 360. We will introduce more possible data analysis tools such as Google Colab and Python.

A Little less Talk - Inventor Professional Tube & Pipe Demo
Talking about a topic is one thing, seeing it is something else. This class will be a live demonstration of some of the key things to know about working with Inventor Tube & Pipe. I will demonstrate getting into the Tube & Pipe environment, set up a tube & pipe style, create a pipe assembly, add pipe runs and create pipe routes in them. I will then populate those routes using various tube & pipe styles. I will also edit and even break some of these routes to show ways of fixing things when your plan inevitably falls apart. The techniques shown will be those I use every day, but may not be the only correct methods.
