00:13

For this example, switch to Point Cloud View mode.

00:17

At the bottom of the viewer, click Annotation to open the annotation tools array.

00:22

The following tools are available:

00:25

The Create a Note tool creates new notes in your model.

00:29

An Annotation Panel appears where you can edit the title and description, and add an attachment, if needed.

00:36

Click Save to save the note.

00:38

Use the Create a Freeform Distance Measurement tool to create an annotation for the distance between two selected points.

00:46

Click Create a Measurement Snapped to X-Axis to create an annotation for the distance between two points snapped along the X-Axis.

00:55

There is also an identical tool for the Y-Axis, and another one for the Z-Axis.

01:02

Click Done to close the annotation tools array.

01:06

Any annotations in your model are saved with the project, and can be viewed or edited in the Project Browser, on the Annotations tab.

01:14

Once annotations are created, you can pan and rotate the view, and the annotations adjust accordingly.
