Use Model Builder to Display the Site and Add GIS Data (for LearnOne)

Selecting a site with transportation access to it, enough space for ample parking, and appropriate building codes and zoning can determine if the project gets approved or not. In this module, you learn how to use Model Builder to display the site. Then, you learn how to connect GIS data to the InfraWorks model and run a proper GIS analysis before selecting the project site.

Selecting the right site for a building can make a big difference in the cost of the project. Selecting a site with transportation access to it, enough space for ample parking, and appropriate building codes and zoning can determine if the project gets approved or not. In this module, you learn how to use Model Builder to display the site. Then, you learn how to connect GIS data to the InfraWorks model and run a proper GIS analysis before selecting the project site.
This module takes approximately 20 minutes to complete. By the end of the module, you should be able to:
- Create a model within minutes using the InfraWorks Model Builder
- Add data from GIS sources to the InfraWorks model
- Analyze the model using Themes and Styles
