Add building elements
When building the model, start simple: establish the basic design with generic elements first. You can later go back and refine the design with more specific walls, doors, and other details.
Create walls
Place foundation walls, exterior walls, and interior walls. Use the Trim/Extend tool to create an opening for a corridor.

Create floors
You can create a sloped floor, add slab edges to a floor, or create multi-layer floors by defining their boundaries.

Create a roof
Add slope-defining roof lines, attach the roof to exterior walls, and modify the roof slope.

Create doors
Add doors with (optional) door tags, adjust dimensions, and control other aspects of the door using the Properties palette.

Place windows
Place, duplicate, modify, and align windows in a model. Learn how to create new window families from an existing family.
