Create stock and tools

To begin the project, you’ll increase your knowledge of machining setups to create stock and to properly orient the work coordinate system. You'll use your knowledge of available tooling to accurately define new tools in the tool library.

After completing this section, you’ll be able to:

• Create multiple setups in sequence for manufacturing.
• Import tools and modify tool settings options.
• Describe considerations for fixturing stock.
• Plan for acquiring accurate part reference zero at each progressive setup.
