Insert components and apply joints

To continue creating parts for the project, you’ll use your knowledge of making models to complete another revolved component. You’ll insert components and modify existing components to accommodate the function of the assembly.

After completing this section, you’ll be able to:

  • Insert components from McMaster-Carr.
  • Use the Combine tool to subtract material from a neighboring component.
  • Apply modeled threads to components.
  • Apply joints between components.
