Design a 3D label using CAD

Use your Fusion CAD skills to work on a real-world project and design a 3D model for use within your school or workplace. In this project, you’ll create a 2D sketch and convert it into a 3D label, name plate, or placard, all of which can be attached to toolboxes, storage bins, or other items where labels are used.

After completing this project, you’ll be able to:

  • Create dimensioned sketches and add constraints to sketch geometry.
  • Use Extrude and Emboss tools to apply 3D features to text.
  • Apply physical material to a solid.
  • Add holes and insert fasteners.
