Customizing the display settings of Revit links

Customizing the display settings of Revit links - Exercise
- Open the practice file 001-Small Medical Center-Customize.rvt.
- Open the 01 Ground Floor HVAC Plan.
- Zoom in on the area where the exam rooms are located.
- Open the Visibility/Graphic Overrides dialog box and select the Revit Links tab.
- In the Display Settings column beside the architectural link click <By Linked View>.
- In the RVT Link Display Settings dialog box click Custom and review the various settings you can customize, as shown below.
- Select the Model Categories tab and the Annotation Categories tab and notice that they are both set to <By Linked View> and the category settings cannot be changed.
- In the Model Categories tab, change Model Categories to <Custom>. The category settings can now be changed.
- Select Casework and make it visible, as shown below, and click OK.
- Click OK to close the dialog boxes and the casework displays in the view, as shown below.
- Modify the location of some of the exhaust air terminals so they are closer to the casework.
- When you are finished return to the Visibility/Graphic Overrides dialog box and set the Display Settings back to <By linked view>.
- Save the project.
