In InfoWorks WS Pro, a generalized multi-run, or GMR, creates a simulation that runs multiple test cases.

GMR is a wrapper around standard simulation types that causes a standard simulation to run many times, each time modifying multiple values.

It allows users to visualize a great number of simulation possibilities. Each of these possibilities is a test case.

The Generalized Multi Run Configuration dialog box is used to specify the simulation runs. Changes of just one or two values can be made from one simulation to the next, to create as many test cases as needed.

IMPORTANT: All of the changes or actions assigned to a test case ID will take effect in that simulation.

Summary results from each test case run are saved as a table, to be reviewed as a report, or used to theme objects on the GeoPlan.
