Create a bridge quickly in InfraWorks.

gives you the tools to model and design bridges in the context of your overall infrastructure design project.

Open your InfraWorks model.

For this example, the file opens with a Proposal named BRIDGE_C3D_CORRIDOR.

Select the road titled ROAD 01.

This is the road spanning the water.

This road is currently a Component Road.

If it were a planning road, you could simply select the road, right-click and choose Convert to Component Road.

From the Create tab, in the Structures panel, select Bridge.

The corridor highlights, prompting you to select the starting station of the bridge.

In the model, click the component road.

The menu appears, allowing you to click where you want the bridge to start and end.

Alternatively, you can enter an exact station value.

Press ENTER or double-click to insert the bridge.

To view or adjust the vertical profile, select the road, right-click, and choose Show Station in Profile View.

In the Profile View, you may adjust points by moving them up as desired.

Click anywhere in the model to update the bridge.

To adjust or edit the length of the bridge, first, select the bridge abutment.

Click the start or end station gizmo that appears to select it.

Drag along the road path and click again to place the new location.
