As a Project Admin, when you create a new project in the Autodesk Construction Cloud,
00:09
you can quickly and easily adjust member properties to help manage member access and permissions for your project.
00:15
Begin in the Autodesk Construction Cloud.
00:18
After creating a new project,
00:21
ACC automatically brings you to the Members page for your new project.
00:25
Select a member—in this case there is only one—and to the right, you can see the associated properties, which can be changed.
00:34
The First property shown is the Company.
00:38
Expand this drop-down to view available options.
00:41
If you do not see the applicable company, you can add one.
00:45
Begin typing—for example, type “smith”— and the application recognizes that it is a new name and prompts you to add the company.
00:54
Simply click +Add company to do this.
00:57
Expand the Role drop-down to apply a specific role to a member,
01:02
such as Engineer or Surveyor.
01:04
Roles can be used to assign permissions to members within the project.
01:08
In this case, there are no roles to select from yet, so it is left as the default.
01:14
Next, expand Access level.
01:17
Here, you can select between a Project administrator or Project member.
01:22
Notice the checkmark next to the selected access level for the member.
01:27
Again, this will impact the permissions that a member has within the project.
01:32
One of the most important aspects of setting up members in your project is to assign products and permissions.
01:39
Notice the warning that displays, indicating that you should turn on product access for yourself as well.
01:45
In this case, Close the warning, and then turn on product access to Docs, Design Collaboration, and Model Coordination.
01:54
Note that the options displayed are dependent on the products purchased, so you may see different options from what is shown here.
02:01
As you can see, at the bottom of this list, there is an Unpurchased product, which is not accessible.
02:08
When you are finished adjusting properties, Close the Member Properties window.
02:13
You now know how to access and edit member properties for your project, which can be adjusted at any time.
