As an Account Administrator or Project Administrator, you can easily create new projects in the Autodesk Construction Cloud.

To begin, log into the cloud using your web browser.

On the Welcome page is a list of the projects you have access to.

To create a new project, click Create Project, and the Create Project dialog opens.

Here, there are several options.

Those marked with a red asterisk are required.

The other items are not required and represent metadata, which you can fill out now, or return to fill in later.

First, enter a project name.

For this example, “Wesley Rd Extension” is used.

Then, enter a project number that follows your company standards.

Next, expand Account to choose an account to save your project to.

If you are an administrator, you may have multiple accounts listed here.

Once you have selected an account, expand Project Type, and select from a list of pre-built project types.

Templates enable you to select a predefined directory structure for your project.

If you are using Civil 3D, then you likely have a pre-built directory to generate your new Civil 3D projects.
