In an assembly, you can use the Pattern Component command to duplicate one or more components

and arrange the resulting occurrences in a circular or rectangular pattern.

To begin, from the Quick Access Toolbar, click Open.

Select Ember-LD-ASM_005.iam, and then click Open.

On the ribbon, in the Assemble tab, Pattern panel, click Pattern.

In the Pattern Component dialog, click the Rectangular pattern tab.

In the graphics window, select the linear guide subassembly as the component to be patterned.

In the Column section, click the selector button, and then select the outside edge of the assembly to specify a direction for the pattern.

Change the spacing to 40mm, and then click OK to create the first pattern.

Now, duplicate another component with a circular pattern.
