In Autodesk Point Layout for Navisworks, the Compare Points tool allows you to compare as-built field data against your model points.

This helps to identify any discrepancies in XYZ values, so that they can be addressed.

To access the Compare Points tool, with your model open in Navisworks, on the Add-ins tab of the ribbon, click Autodesk Point Layout.

Then, from the Point Layout dialog, click Compare Points.

In the Compare Point File to Drawing dialog, click Select File to Compare.

Navigate to the file to compare against the model.

Select the file, and then click Open.

The Compare Points dialog displays a report highlighting each point with differing XYZ values from the model,

showing the Model Point XYZ alongside the Field Pt XYZ value, as well as their differences.

Select a point in the report, and the model view zooms to the point.

You can also filter the report results by entering a description in the Filter field or by setting a value for the Default Location Tolerance.
