00:03
We're going to start by adding labels to the existing pipe network
00:08
to add labels. We navigate to the Anno tape ribbon
00:12
and then click the add labels drop down,
00:16
then click on pressure network
00:19
where we have the options to add labels to either the entire network
00:23
or individual network parts.
00:26
And these can be either added in plan section or profile view
00:32
to start off with. We're gonna add labels to the entire network in plan view.
00:40
We can then click on any part of the network. And civil 3D
00:44
will add labels to each part within the network.
00:49
We can then neaten up the labels by dragging them with the grips
00:53
which will create leaders.
01:01
We can then repeat these steps to add labels to the profile view.
01:05
This time, we're gonna add labels to a single pressure part in profile.
01:11
We can then click on each of the parts that we want to add labels to
01:17
and then press enter when we're done.
01:21
And again, these can be tidied up by dragging the labels using the grips.
01:27
Next, we're gonna look at how we create tables.
01:31
We again navigate to the annotate ribbon.
01:34
And this time we're gonna click the add tables drop down
01:38
and then click pressure network.
01:42
We then have three options.
01:44
We can create tables for pressure pipes
01:46
fittings or appurtenances
01:51
and they're all created in the same way.
01:53
And for this example,
01:55
we're gonna create a pressure pipe table.
01:59
We can then choose the table style
02:02
which will dictate the appearance of the table.
02:06
We can then choose to add all parts within a network
02:09
or we can pick individual parts from the drawing.
02:13
We can then choose how we want the table to be split
02:16
if there are a large number of pipes within the network.
02:19
And finally, we can choose if we want the table to be dynamic
02:23
or static.
02:26
If we set this to dynamic
02:28
and the pipe network is updated,
02:31
then the table will automatically update with the new design values.
02:35
However, if we set this to static,
02:38
then the table will remain the same and it won't be updated,
02:42
we can then click OK
02:45
and then click to place the table.
