In Revit, you can use multiple methods to create and edit electrical circuits in an architectural model.

To begin, open the Revit file, and ensure you are using the Level 1 Power Plan view.

In the drawing area, you need to select a duplex receptacle with an electrical power connector.

Select a receptacle, and then, on the Modify | Electrical Fixtures contextual ribbon,

Create Systems tab, click Power to create a circuit.

With the circuit selected, click Edit Circuit on the contextual ribbon.

Revit is now in Edit Circuit mode, which allows you to add or remove components from the circuit.

Select Add to Circuit.

In the contextual ribbon, expand the Panel drop-down and select panel PP-1A.
