Making a Connector – Practice Exercise
Task 1: Edit the 90 Elbow and go into the connector database
Right click on the item, edit, go to the Other tab. Click on connector arrow to access the connector
database.
Task 2: Click on the New button and add the connector Name and Type.
Task 3: Add the connector dimensional data
 
 
Task 4: Add Drawing options
1. Click on the Drawing button in the tool bar at the top.
2. Change the color, set the Connectivity to Orbital
3. Set the End Type to None and the End Dray type to Standard.
4. Change the Extension Includes Diameter to yes and close.
Task 5: Create a Connector Table in Excel and paste the dimensions into the connector.
