Work with survey surfaces

In this video, you’ll learn how survey-based surfaces are incorporated into Civil 3D design workflows. You’ll review a prebuilt surface created from points and create one from a LandXML file provided by a surveyor.

After completing this video, you’ll be able to:

  • Identify surface content used to create a surface from points.
  • Export and import surfaces using the LandXML format.
