You may have noticed, when you first import a schedule without dates into Flow Generative Scheduling, and create a Playground, that your scenario will, in fact, contain dates.

When you import schedule data into Flow Generative Scheduling, an initial schedule is automatically generated. This schedule represents the as-soon-as-possible version of the schedule.

Within any one of your scenarios, you can use the Generate button to optimize your schedule. You don't have to set any additional parameters on your schedule to benefit from the Generate button.

Simply select Generate and watch as Flow Generative Scheduling works to optimize and refine the schedule further.

The power of Flow Generative Scheduling is in using parameters to refine your schedule. These include:

• Constraints to control when an activity is scheduled, which you can set in the Schedule tab
  
  
  
  
• Priorities to control the relative importance of one activity over another, which you can also set in the Schedule tab
  
  
  
  
• Resource shaping to define resource minimums and capacity, which you perform in the Resources tab
  
  

Use Flow Generative Scheduling to quickly generate schedules for your different scheduling scenarios.
