Retrieve network summary data in the Network Overview

Any referenced datasets can be downloaded from "Module downloads" in the module overview.

Step-by-step guide

In ICM, easily review a comprehensive summary of the network being modelled from the Network Overview.

To access the Network Overview:

  1. With a network open, from the Network menu, select Overview.

  • One side displays a synopsis of the data for the entire network. This includes information such as a count of system components or the length of pipe based on size.
  • The other side shows more specific details of a particular area or type of data. If there is a current selection active, the Network Overview provides a data summary of the objects in the selection.
  1. To choose the additional information to display for either the network or for a current selection, in the table, click the appropriate column header.

  1. In the Include System Type section, filter the data by specifying which system types to include.

  1. To print the overview information, from the File menu, select Print.

This prints all of the summary data, not just the data that is currently visible, in a series of easy-to-view tables.
