Creating users in Vault

Steps covered in the video:

  1. Open up Vault Server (aka Autodesk Data Management Server Console), logging in as an administrator. 
  2. Navigate to Tools, then Administration, opening the Global setting modal. 
  3. Under Users and Groups, click Manage Access. It's possible to also manage roles from the Global Setting modal. Specifics of the roles available are here. 
  4. Select New to create a new user. A new modal will appear where you can enter the credentials of the user you're adding. Please note that Vault is case-sensitive, so please be precise. Once the information is added, you can adjust the appropriate settings for Account, Roles, Vaults to access, and Groups.  
  5. Ensure Enable User is checked, then click OK.
