Get started with Vault configuration and user management
Course overview
Learn how to set up Vault to use with Inventor and other software for design and collaboration purposes. You will learn how to add users and user groups for access to Vault, including reviewing and editing their roles. You will also be introduced to administration related to Vault lifecycles, categories, and revision schemes.
You should be able to:
- Log in to Vault.
- Set the working folder.
- Set up the folder structure.
- Create an Inventor project file for Vault.
- Map Vault folders in Inventor.
- Check in the project file to Vault.
- Configure working folder options.
- Review and edit roles.
- Add user accounts to enable access to Vault.
- Add user groups to facilitate management of users and their access to Vault.
- Understand lifecycle administration.
- Understand category administration.
- Understand revision scheme administration.
