Now that we’ve completely setup and programmed our part in this lesson, we’re ready to save our NC Code generated from our final simulation and send it to our machine.
00:20
As always, we’ll run our final simulation, navigate to the NC Code tab in our Results pane.
00:27
Take a look at our NC Code, review it, make any changes that you would like.
00:32
And once you’re satisfied, we’ll select "Save NC".
00:36
As always, start by selecting the directory you would like to save to, naming your file name and selecting what exactly you would like to save.
00:46
In this case, let’s save our NC program and a tool list for all setups.
00:52
This will help us setup our tool crib on the machine and load our NC program to actually machine this part.
00:58
Once I’m happy with that, will select "OK", and both our NC Code and our tool list has been saved to our indicated directory.
01:09
With that, we finished lesson 2.
01:12
There was a lot of information covered in this lesson.
01:15
And as I’ve mentioned a couple of times throughout this lesson, I strongly recommend that you go back and try to work through the entire lesson on your own.
01:24
As you’re working through the lesson, if you’d like, feel free to explore other strategies or options in FeatureCAM to machine this model.
01:33
See if you can get a result that you prefer or that works better for you.
01:38
Once you feel comfortable with all of the material covered in this lesson, feel free to move on to lesson 3.
