If you have a set of new users that you want
00:10
to add to the platform and then assign to a team,
00:13
you can do so by first adding them as contacts
00:16
and then adding them to a team individually.
00:19
However,
00:20
there's a shortcut that can be used by way
00:22
of the Import CSV button in the teams column.
00:27
To get started,
00:28
you'll first want to create the team that you'll want to add all of these new users to.
00:32
Click on New Team.
00:35
Give it a name,
00:39
a default permission,
00:42
and a color, then click Create.
00:46
Now, ensuring that you have that team selected,
00:49
click the Import CSV button, which will bring up the import dialogue.
00:54
Your next step is to import a file that's in CSV format and has three columns:
00:60
first name,
01:01
last name,
01:02
and email.
01:04
You can either drag that file into the dialog box
01:07
or click the up arrow to browse for it.
01:12
Once you do,
01:13
you'll see the dialogue box change informing you of the changes you're about to make,
01:17
as well as displaying one sample record.
01:21
Once you've confirmed this info is correct,
01:23
click the Import button to have them added.
01:32
The list of users will now be added to your production,
01:35
and importantly, they'll also be added to the team that you had selected
01:39
when importing.
01:41
You can also import a CSV to add users to an existing team.
01:46
When you do, if that team has already been assigned to any folders,
01:50
the users that you're importing to it will be granted that same access,
01:54
so it's important to double check that you're
01:56
importing the correct users to the correct team.
