Manage rebar numbers and partitions - Exercise

In Revit, rebar numbers are added automatically, partitions are not. Partitions indicate what area or
group a bar belongs to.

  1. Open Revit, then the file MEDICAL CENTER PARKING GARAGE.RVT (or open any Revit project you are working in).
  2. Go to Level 2.
  3. Select the Level 2 slab.
  4. Click on the Reinforcement contextual panel, then click the path button.

  5. Click the line shown below, then click the flip button to direct the reinforcement into the slab.

  6. Pick the lines along the edge, as shown below.

  7. In the Properties, call the Partition West Edge Level 2.

  8. Click the green Finish checkmark, and you are all set.
