Creating a rebar schedule

Any referenced datasets can be downloaded from "Module downloads" in the module overview.

Create schedules - Exercise

  1. Open Revit then the file MEDICAL CENTER PARKING GARAGE.RVT (or open any Revit project you are working in).
  2. In the View Tab, click on Schedules, then select Schedules/Quantities from the menu.

  3. Select Structural Rebar, as shown below.

  4. Click OK.
  5. Add the values, as shown below.

  6. Go to the Sorting/Grouping tab.
  7. Sort by Partition.
  8. Check on Footer.
  9. At the bottom, make sure Grand Totals is selected.

  10. Go to the Formatting tab.
  11. Select the Bar Length parameter.
  12. Select Calculate totals from the Field Formatting area.

  13. Click OK.
