Create layout viewports

Viewports in a paper space layout serve as a window to see design content that is drawn in model space. With viewports you can display areas of a drawing at different scales, in different orientations, and with different views, all within the same layout.

After completing this video, you will be able to:

  • Create layout viewports in paper space.
  • Insert a view created in model space.
  • Create a non-rectangular viewport from an existing object.
