Building Information Modelling (BIM) for Linear Structures started to emerge in different markets. Through the last five years, this field has witnessed huge improvements either by individual personnel or by large engineering firms. Our firm – accordingly – has made a considerable accomplishment through developing coherent in-house workflow tools. These tools work by integrating Civil 3D®, Revit® and Dynamo® through API to automate BIM model creation, which – by its turn – allows for 2D drawings automated extraction. They have been further effectively and successfully applied to real-world projects.
