"Revit 2026 introduces powerful new capabilities that transform how MEP designers work. In this session, we’ll explore two major enhancements that give users unprecedented control and flexibility over electrical and mechanical systems. You’ll also learn how to apply Dynamo scripts to automate the task. 

On the electrical side, we’ll cover the newly introduced user-controllable conductor sizes and cable configuration tools. These updates eliminate long-standing limitations, enabling both imperial and metric workflows with custom logic to automate conductor sizing and assign cables to circuits based on your own standards and rules. 

On the mechanical side, we’ll showcase a highly requested feature: the ability to override pressure loss coefficients for ducts and pipes. This gives mechanical engineers precise control over pressure drop calculations, ensuring more accurate sizing, balancing, and performance simulations across HVAC and hydronic systems. 

By the end of this session, attendees will gain insight into how Revit 2026 empowers MEP professionals to create smarter, more adaptable, and globally compliant designs—all from within the native Revit environment. "
